Our Services

Rangers' Outpost Camps offer the experienced fisherman and outdoorsman the opportunity to enjoy premier Northern Pike fishing in Ontario's Algoma-Kinniwabi country on remote lakes accessible only by float plane.

We accept only one party per site at any time, so we can almost guarantee that you and your party will see or hear no one else during your stay.

Our four sites are a short hop from our base camp in the growing community of Elliot Lake, Ontario, and have received very little fishing pressure over the last number of years.

Two of our sites, Pirate Lake and Quartz Lake, offer clean and comfortable sportsmen's cabins for 2-6 guests complete with bunks, wood stove, propane cook stove, and outhouse. Hook Lake offers a semi-permanent tent structure with a wood stove, and propane cook stove. Our fourth site, Escape Lake, offers only a campsite.

In addition to the excellent pike fishing, our outposts offer some memorable opportunities to experience the Canadian wilderness and its wildlife. Moose, black bear, wolves, bald eagles and hawks, otter, beaver and more are to be found on and around our lakes. Beautiful Jack Pines and Norway Spruce, along with White Birch stands, surround our sites. The water and fish habitat are pristine and offer a variety of fishing possibilities. Opportunities to view shooting stars, the Milky Way, the Northern Lights – all with the unaided eye are commonplace at our camps.

Rangers' Outpost Camps has exclusive use of a long-established fly-in service out of Elliot Lake, Ontario. We will make the necessary arrangements with the service for you and your party for a memorable fishing and wilderness experience.

Pirate Lake (Lower and Upper)

Quartz Lake

Ideal for groups of 2-4; Northern Pike and whitefish; Clean and comfortable outpost cabin offers bunk beds, wood stove, propane cooking stove, and outhouse; Dishes, pans, utensils; One 15 ft. aluminum canoe and two 14 ft. canoes; New Johnson 3.5 h.p. outboard engines available for rent

Hook Lake

Ideal for group of 2; Northern Pike and whitefish; Very little fishing pressure over the last several years; Prospector's tent offers wood stove, and propane cook stove; Dishes, pans, utensils; One 14 ft. square stern canoe; New Johnson 3.5 H.P. outboard engines available for rent

Escape Lake

Camp site only; Almost no fishing pressure; One 14 ft. fiberglass canoe; Brand-new 3.5 h.p. outboard engines available for rent
